01Overview
NSW Law Reports is a live publishing product for legal research and report access, combining structured content, search journeys and subscription-facing user flows.
02Challenge
Dense legal research content had to read clearly, search well and respect subscriptions — without making editorial publishing or frontend delivery harder to maintain.
03My role
On the Rush Hour Digital team I worked across content-model assumptions, frontend rendering and the connected publishing and account flows that turn complex legal material into searchable interfaces.

05Key challenges
- 01Presenting dense legal content so it stays clear, searchable and manageable for editors.
- 02Supporting search and subscription flows without splitting the reading experience into disconnected systems.
- 03Evolving publishing and account features without regressions on a live product.
06Decisions
- 01Drupal for structured legal content and editorial control; Next.js for the public experience.
- 02Publishing, search and account features kept inside one connected delivery pattern.
- 03Structured content models so legal material is reusable across search, navigation and reading contexts.
07Result
Structured legal content, discovery journeys and subscription flows are delivered through one consistent full-stack implementation.
