Overview

Lexibook is a live Drupal and Next.js commerce experience with multilingual storefront, product browsing, and CMS-backed promotional content.

The Challenge

The platform needed multilingual catalog, campaign, and CMS content to move through one delivery pipeline without turning the Next.js storefront into a brittle set of one-off templates.

My Role

Senior Full-Stack Developer

Owned full-stack implementation across Drupal structures and Next.js rendering, translating CMS and catalog data into reusable commerce interfaces instead of one-off page builds.

Technical Implementation

Implemented a headless Drupal and Next.js commerce stack where Drupal APIs drove localized product, campaign, and merchandising content into reusable React sections and route-level storefront pages.

Key Technical Challenges

Keeping localized content, product data, and promotional layouts in sync as Drupal structures evolved.

Shipping changes across a live commerce environment where content, catalog, and presentation concerns moved together.

Solution

Implemented Drupal-backed content delivery into reusable Next.js pages and sections, supporting product detail pages, promotional surfaces, and ongoing release work inside a reproducible Lando-based workflow.

Important Technical Decisions

Use Drupal as the content and integration backbone while delivering the customer-facing experience in Next.js.
Translate CMS structures into reusable frontend sections instead of coupling the UI to one page shape.
Keep implementation workflows consistent through shared local tooling and API-backed frontend development.

Result

Helped keep a live multilingual commerce platform maintainable as content and catalog requirements evolved, giving editors room to manage merchandising in Drupal while the frontend stayed modular and fast.
